WordPress Blogging themes. How to manage slider

This tutorial shows how to manage slider in WordPress Blogging themes.

Originally Blogging themes do not have sample images, so you will need to upload your own ones.

Slider is set with the help of Smart Slider Widget – you can find it under Appearance -> Widgets tab in your Dashboard.

You can adjust slider widget settings here:

To change slides images, you should do the following:

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel;

2. Navigate to Posts – All posts tab;

3. Select the specified in the slider widget settings posts category to edit;

4. In the right bottom Featured Image section you will find the Set Featured image field;

5. Use this field to set your new featured image;

6. Save settings using the Update button.
